Théophile Alexandre Steinlen-artists covered

Théophile Alexandre Steinlen, frequently referred to as just Steinlen (November 10, 1859 – December 13, 1923), was a Swiss-born French Art Nouveau painter and printmaker.

the work of the artist ispires me personally with his use of a limited colur scheme/palate, which creates a focal point within the image draws attention to the cat in the foreground which is a block black this theme runs throughout the pieces of the artist. This and the printing technique which means that the print could be reproduced multiple times with the same quality each time it is printed, the pieces also have a flowing style attributing to his art deco style.
